The RS 4 introduces a redesigned horizontal plate for seamless second-generation vertical shooting. Creators can effortlessly switch to portrait orientation without needing extra parts—just release and resecure the plate for efficient vertical content creation.

Upgraded Axis Locks
With 2nd-gen automatic axis locks, RS 4 powers on or enters sleep instantly. The locks are tighter, minimizing unwanted gimbal movement during transitions and storage.

Enhanced Balancing System
All axes feature a Teflon™ coating, reducing friction for smoother adjustments. A tilt-axis fine-tuning knob allows for precise micro-adjustments, while the upper quick-release plate now includes an adjustable guide for improved camera mounting stability.

Auto-Locking Touchscreen
The OLED display locks automatically to prevent accidental touches. While locked, it still shows key gimbal and joystick modes at low brightness to conserve energy.

Powerful Stabilization, Expanded Capacity

3 kg Payload with Lighter Design
Despite its compact build, RS 4 can handle up to 3 kg (6.6 lbs)—ideal for most mirrorless camera and lens combinations. The tilt axis has been extended by 8.5 mm to support larger setups, even with ND filters and other accessories.

4th-Gen RS Stabilization Algorithm
The latest stabilization algorithm provides an optimal mix of stability and natural motion feel. It offers especially enhanced stability during vertical shooting and fast-paced or low-angle scenarios.

Bluetooth Zoom & Shutter Control
With Dual-Mode Bluetooth, RS 4 can wirelessly trigger the shutter and control zoom. Joystick-enabled Power Zoom and Clear Image Zoom support deliver intuitive lens control, with auto-reconnection after initial pairing.

Focus Pro Motor Compatibility
When paired with the DJI Focus Pro Motor, users can zoom via joystick and control focus via dial—perfect for fluid, efficient lens handling.

Customizable Trigger & Mode Switching
The trigger can be configured to FPV mode, making the gimbal follow grip movement for immersive or POV-style shots. You can quickly switch between PF, PTF, and FPV modes—or assign 3D Roll 360 or a Custom mode to match your needs.
